My name is Denise Dodd and I am a Bridge Teacher and Grand Master who has been teaching bridge for over 16 years. I have a small group of bridge players at the Brisbane Sailing Squadron every Wednesday from 10am-1 pm and I was wondering if you could include this information in your local publication.
You may be aware that medical research shows that the "use it or lose it" philosophy also applies to our brain, and pursuits such as bridge are actively encouraged to assist in staying mentally fit.
At the moment, bridge at the Brisbane Sailing Squadron is for people who have already learnt. Beginner Lessons, however, will commence there in early February.
